Jammin' with the Giants
Jammin' with the Giants... Which giants do you like to jam with? In 1998 The Utne Reader published an issue that had the theme "Jammin’ with the Giants: How To Keep Your Mind Alive for Life” (from when I had a subscription to that great magazine). That issue highlighted dozens of geniuses whose works you should study -- to keep your mind sharp. That issue of The Utne Reader included works by great geniuses I hadn't heard of before, as well as some works that I need to explore more deeply. (I need to revisit that issue someday; I wasn't able to find it online.)

To return to the question, "Which giants do you like to jam with?" -- how would you respond to that question? Whose work inspires your thinking and how you approach problem solving? If you are an educator, who are some giants who inspire your teaching? What geniuses do you return to again and again, to help you keep your mind sharp? I'd like to hear your response to one of those questions; please contact me to let me know what you think.
