• Co-taught poetry workshops at Jones College Prep
School, as part of the Harrison Haiku Station Project (HHSP). Collaborated with
faculty and administration from several departments at Columbia College during
HHSP’s planning stages, which culminated in the renovation of the Harrison
subway station in Chicago’s south loop neighborhood. Several students’ haiku
from these workshops were among the haiku which were chosen to appear on walls
in the Harrison subway station, on the CTA’s Red Line. (6/2004-5/2005)

• Extensive experience as a teaching artist who has taught classes and
developed curricula for classes for children, teens, families, and
intergenerational groups—at Marwen, Urban Gateways, the Hyde Park Art
